Johnson and Bridget O'Neill pair up with members of the PNWPA to bring you Parkour For The People. Emerging on the streets of Europe, taking names on YouTube and leaping onto the big screen, Parkour has an underground appeal the world over. But it's here in Seattle we found a tight knit group of Tracuers working together to make Parkour accessible to the masses. The Pacific Northwest Parkour Association, or PNWPA, is a not-for-profit designed to get people of all ages outside and moving. Experienced Traceurs teach students the fundamentals through classes, training exercises, and strength building activities. If you would like to give Parkour a try, you can find more information at www.PNWPA.com. Special thanks to: Green Lake Park, Gas Works Park, Tyson Cecka, Rafe Kelley, Brandee Laird, Janine Cundy, and Adam Truesdell For years the American arcade scene has been in decline. As home gaming systems continued to advance gamers no longer sought arcades and settled into playing from the couches with friends and online. \r\nBut Street Fighter 4, the latest in a long line of one on one fighting games that has defined a genre, is changing all that. The most highly anticipated arcade release in ears has gamers swarming the two machines in Washington. But will the Feb. 17th release of the home version see arcades deserted once more?\r\n\r\nSpecial thanks to my Street Fighters! Frank Caraan, Michael Davis, Mandel Scott, Sean Caraan and Andre Hill.\r\n\r\nDON'T FORGET TO STUMBLE AND SHARE THIS VIDEO WITH THE HANDY SOCIAL NETWORKING TOOLS TO THE RIGHT. ~ THANK YOU ~ J & B Sitting down with Melissa Rossi at Seattle's Town Hall we talk about what Americans desperately need to know about the Middle East, a region which has a history of intervention and insurrection. What Every American Should Know About The Middle East is a culmination of first hand experience. Rossi speaks on the Gaza crises, World War one historical precedent for casting the Middle East in to the world spot light and many other points. Journalist Joshua Johnson sat down with Dr. William Hanson, this week, to discuss his recent book “The Edge of Medicine”. Dr. Hanson describes some of the newest technologies utilized to more efficiently diagnose illnesses in patients and some of the history that inspired these advancements. For example, the electronic nose detects infection, such as pneumonia, based on a person’s breath.\r\n\r\nIf you enjoy this video, please leave a comment and pass along.
A Confluence Creative Media Production. Edited by Bridget O'Neill “At this season of the Winter Solstice may reason prevail. There are no gods, no devils, no angels, no heaven or hell. There is only our natural world. Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds.”\r\nThat’s what the Madison-based Freedom from Religion Foundation put up this holiday season in the marble hallways of the State Capitol in Olympia, Washington between the Senate and House chambers. The placard stands next to a giant xmas tree (a pagan symbol that has become associated with the Christian holiday) and a traditional nativity scene. This gesture symbolizes the very controversial topic of religion's role in the U.S. Joshua Johnson Reports. On November 22, 2008, YouTubers the world over gathered with video cameras in hand in San Francisco, CA for the first ever YouTube sponsored community gathering. YouTube Communities across the globe have been meeting one another "in the flesh" for a couple of years now, but never has there been a gathering like YouTube Live! Seattle's own Bridget O’Neill, known on YouTube as Lilylulay, was invited to attend this once in a lifetime experience. Featuring top musical artists such as Akon, Katy Perry, Will I Am, and YouTube Celebrities Esmee Denters, Michael Buckely from WHATTHEBUCKSHOW, LisaNova, and WilliamSledd, YouTube Live proved to be much more than a live concert. Part reunion, part concert and part variety show, thousands took to the San Francisco’s Herbst Pavilion to see and be seen at the event. And for the over 150,000 folks who couldn’t make it in person, they tuned in to YouTube.com/Live to watch it as it unfolded for a full 90 minutes of pure YouTube awesomeness!
