According to Precita Eyes, one of three community mural centers in the U.S., creating public art is a great way to inspire people take better care of their neighborhoods. But what makes Precita Eyes unique is that it specifically aims get the community's youth involved in painting. VJ Nikki Garcia hits the Mission to show some of the murals, and caught up with Precita Eyes during the creation of one of its latest mural projects.
